Campy badness. Vampires, Religion, Old vs New… what is there to love? No really, what is there to love?
Not much truthfully. The cast are all quality actors: Paul Bettany, Maggie Q, Cam Gigandet, Lily Collins, Karl Urban, Christopher Plummer. BY THE MIGHT OF THE CINEMA GODS, this cast should have guaranteed an awesome movie. What went wrong?
Perhaps, it tried too hard to be so many things without being good at least in one area or another. Either way, it falls under popcorn flick; turn off your brain, and maybe you’ll gleam some entertainment from it.
