Quick Review: CHAPPiE
I’m of two minds. One says it was horrible, another says it was ok. It is Short Circuit on crack in South Africa.
Die Antwoord can actually act! I’ve heard them in concert (subject to them, not by choice, as I waited for the band I wanted to see come on stage afterwards) and I will say, I prefer them as actors over … singers? Kudos Die Antwoord, I was impressed by them in this movie.
Also, worthy to watch just for a rare incident of Hugh Jackman playing an asshat villain. Go Jackman!
